  • Contract Job Overview We're looking for a reliable, organized, and enthusiastic Salon Assistant to join our team in McKinney.
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in the beauty industry who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. No cosmetology license is required. Requirements Weekend availability (required). Strong work ethic with excellent reliability and punctuality. Positive attitude and professional demeanor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and cleanliness . Ability to multitask and work well both independently and as part of a team. Previous salon, retail, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required. Responsibilities Greet clients and help create a welcoming salon experience. Shampoo and condition clients' hair. Keep styling stations, shampoo bowls, and common areas clean and organized. Sweep hair, sanitize tools, and assist with maintaining salon cleanliness throughout the day. Restock products, towels, and salon supplies as needed. Assist stylists by preparing clients and workstations. Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with front desk duties when needed. Help ensure the salon operates smoothly by assisting wherever needed.
