POSITION SUMMARY
The Spa Attendant plays a key role in delivering a refined and tranquil guest experience at Hotel Jackson's luxury spa. This position is responsible for maintaining impeccable locker rooms, lounges, and wet areas while providing thoughtful, discreet, and attentive service to spa guests. The Spa Attendant supports overall spa operations by ensuring all guest areas are clean, calm, well-appointed, and aligned with Hotel Jackson's service and cleanliness standards.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Guest Experience- Welcome spa guests warmly and professionally upon entry into locker room and lounge areas.
- Provide guests with a calm, clear orientation to spa amenities, locker rooms, steam rooms, saunas, and relaxation areas.
- Anticipate guest needs and offer assistance proactively while respecting privacy and spa etiquette.
- Maintain a peaceful ambiance by monitoring noise levels, guest flow, and overall atmosphere.
- Address guest questions, requests, or concerns promptly and with professionalism.
- Provide sincere farewells and ensure guests leave feeling cared for and relaxed.
- Locker Room, Lounge & Facility Maintenance
- Maintain continuous cleanliness and organization of locker rooms, restrooms, showers, steam rooms, saunas, and relaxation lounges.
- Replenish towels, robes, slippers, toiletries, water, tea, and all spa amenities throughout the day.
- Ensure lockers, vanities, floors, and seating areas are spotless and orderly at all times.
- Monitor facility conditions such as temperature, lighting, scents, and music, reporting concerns promptly.
- Identify, report, and document maintenance or safety issues immediately to management.
- Operational Support
- Assist with opening and closing procedures for spa facilities as assigned.
- Coordinate with Spa Desk Agents and service providers to support seamless guest flow.
- Handle linens according to spa standards, including proper sorting, stocking, and storage.
- Maintain back-of-house areas in a clean, organized, and efficient manner.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the spa team and daily operations.
- Quality Assurance & Standards
- Uphold all Hotel Jackson service, cleanliness, and professionalism standards.
- Follow established spa procedures, checklists, and sanitation protocols consistently.
- Maintain a polished personal appearance in line with spa and hotel grooming standards.
- Demonstrate discretion, cultural sensitivity, and respect for guest privacy at all times.
- Safety & Security
- Follow all hotel and departmental safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely and according to training.
- Report accidents, injuries, unsafe conditions, or suspicious activity immediately.
- Protect guest belongings, privacy, and spa assets at all times.
- Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 pounds.
- Perform repetitive cleaning and stocking tasks.
- Comfortable working in warm, humid environments such as steam rooms and saunas.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to provide courteous, attentive, and discreet guest service. Preferred
- Previous experience in a spa, hotel, fitness, or luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of spa etiquette and wellness environments.
- Working Relationships
- Works closely with Spa Desk Agents, service providers, housekeeping, and hotel leadership.
- Demonstrates teamwork, flexibility, and a supportive attitude in a fast-paced luxury setting.
Pay:
$19.00- $22.
