Tanning Salon Employee Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and friendly Tanning Salon Employee to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our clients. You will assist customers with their tanning needs, promote products, and maintain salon standards. Your passion for beauty and wellness will help create a positive experience for our clientele. Duties Greet clients warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit. Assist customers in selecting tanning packages and products that meet their needs. Perform routine sanitization of tanning beds and salon equipment to ensure a safe environment. Educate clients on proper tanning techniques and aftercare to enhance their experience. Upsell additional services and products to maximize sales opportunities. Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain the cash register. Keep the salon clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Address any client concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally. Experience Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred. Knowledge of cosmetology or skincare products is a plus but not required. Strong sales skills with an ability to upsell services effectively. Experience with cash handling procedures is beneficial. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment are essential.
