Job Description

The Department of Performing arts is looking for a Costume Shop Student Aide (CSA) who will work in the costume shop as stitchers for the build, load-in, tech, and strike of all Productions and report directly to the Costume Shop Supervisor Must be able to climb a ladder and lift 10-20 pounds Applicant must provide work availability upon applying, most work occurs on Fridays and work weekends CSAs duties will include, but not be limited to: building & altering costumes and costume crafts styling and maintaining wigs assisting with make-up application organizing and maintaining costume stock keeping track of the costume needs in all Production cleaning and maintaining the dressing rooms CSAs will train the wardrobe supervisors and crew for all Productions, take direction from and work with all designers, faculty and theatre staff employed by the Department of Performing Arts
