THE JOB:
As an on call Uniform Operations Specialist, you will support the day-to-day operation of a fast-paced uniform department, ensuring employees receive the garments and service they need to look and feel their best. You'll assist with uniform fittings and distribution, track garments and inventory, coordinate items going to and returning from laundry services, and perform light alterations. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working with people, and keeping a high-volume operation organized and moving efficiently.

DAY-TO-DAY
Assist employees with uniform-related needs, including fittings, uniform issuance, light alterations, and guidance on uniform systems and procedures. Maintain accurate employee and inventory records using uniform management software, including applying barcodes, RFID chips, and name labels to garments. Operate uniform-related equipment, including conveyor systems, heat-seal and pressing equipment, commercial washing machines, steam irons, and other applicable machinery. Track and maintain uniform inventory, including assigned garments, standing inventory, and items sent to and returned from cleaners. Receive and process new uniform inventory and identify and properly dispose of unusable garments. Adhere to all Health Department, OSHA, sanitation, and safety regulations, including proper chemical handling and use of required personal protective equipment (PPE). Deliver exceptional service in alignment with company and property service standards and brand expectations.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age Previous experience in uniforms, laundry, alterations, or a similar operational environment preferred
