This is a hands on position responsible for providing respectful aftercare for beloved pets Responsibilities Perform pet cremations according to company standards Handle deceased pets of various sizes Maintain accurate identification and tracking throughout the entire process Create memorial keepsakes Maintain a clean and safe working environment Drive established routes when needed to veterinary offices and other locations Safely load, transport, and unload pets while maintaining proper identification Some light office duties as needed Assist with other crematory facility as needed Physical Requirements Regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day Lift and carry 50-70 lbs independently work in and around crematory equipment and tolerate periods of increased heat Perform cleaning and general facility maintenance duties Qualifications Dependable, punctual, and consistant Strong attention to detail Comfortable working with deceased animals of various sizes and species Ability to work independently while also functioning as a team Valid drivers license The Right Person For This Job Although much of this work takes place behind the scenes, the care and accuracy directly impacts the families we serve.
