Job Description

A Certified Laser Technician and Esthetician in Arizona provides advanced skin care and cosmetic laser procedures in a med spa or dermatology clinic. Duties include laser hair removal, skin resurfacing, and custom facials, requiring an active Arizona Esthetician license and Arizona Radiation Regulatory Agency (ARRA) laser certification.
Job Summary & Core Duties Skin Evaluations:
Assess client skin types and design custom treatment plans.
Laser Procedures:
Operate Class IV aesthetic lasers for hair removal, photo-facials, and skin tightening.
Esthetic Services:
Perform chemical peels, dermaplaning, microneedling, and medical-grade facials.
Client Education:
Advise on pre- and post-treatment care and home skincare regimens.
Sales & Retention:
Cross-sell skincare products and promote clinic service packages.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow safety protocols and maintain clean, sanitized treatment rooms.
Requirements & Qualifications Licenses:
Current Arizona State Esthetician License.
Certifications:
Certified Laser Technician credential recognized by the Arizona Radiation Regulatory Agency (ARRA).
Experience:
3+ years working in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery practice.
Skills:
Strong communication, customer service orientation, and proven retail/service sales abilities. Responsibilities Medical Aesthetic Treatments Perform advanced Sciton Laser, Agnes RF, Tixel, Microneedling w/PRP and aesthetic treatments. Educate patients before and after treatments. Capture standardized before-and-after photographs. Monitor treatment progress and patient outcomes. Maintain laser safety standards and treatment rooms. $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
