About The Position LA ViE MD is growing fast. With 4 locations and expanding, we're looking for an inspiring Esthetician that loves what they do to grow with us. We're a physician-led medspa offering the full range of cosmetic and medical skincare. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into full-time faster if you're able to bring any clients with you. You'll be delivering high-impact treatments (think HydraFacial, chemical peels) and helping patients feel more confident in their skin while also working in a medspa that focuses on the relationship with the patient not fitting in dozens of patients in a single day. We're not looking for just you to treat clients but add your ideas so you're part of our growth and success. What You'll Be Doing Performing high-quality skin treatments like HydraFacials, dermaplaning, and biorepeels. Getting to know patients, learning their goals, and helping them pick the right products, ingredients, and routines Provide our patients with excellent service, addressing their needs and doing your part to ensure a great patient experience Greet patients upon arrival whenever possible and escort patients to the exam room to ease their concerns, any nervousness and help them feel welcome. Earn our patients' trust, advising them on skincare products, ingredients and proper use. You'll also counsel them on dermatologic procedures, diagnoses, outcomes and cosmetic procedures Using our EMR system to document visits and scribe during appointments (don't worry—we'll train you, but staying on top of this is key) Keeping treatment rooms organized, clean, and beautifully stocked so every visit feels premium Assisting with cosmetic and medical dermatology procedures with the nurses or Doctor to help patients feel at ease. Learning new treatments and best practices—we invest in training and want you to grow here Being on time and dependable. Our patients and team members count on our estheticians to be on time (which means 15 minutes early) to all scheduled office hours. Who You Are A licensed Esthetician in California with experience working for a plastic surgeon, dermatologist or med spa practice. Experienced with HydraFacial, peels, dermaplaning—and excited to keep learning Dependable prompt and time efficient Exudes positive energy and naturally builds connections with others. Good sense of social cues. Knowing the balance of how much to ask a patient, how much to share.
