La Vie MD is seeking a motivated, polished, and sales focused Licensed Esthetician to join our growing medical aesthetics team. This position starts at a minimum of 24 hours per week to 40 hours a week. We are looking for an esthetician who is confident performing advanced facial treatments, understands skincare, and is comfortable educating clients and recommending appropriate services and products. Requirements Current California Esthetician License HydraFacial Certified required Proficient in dermaplaning 2 years experience Experience performing customized and corrective facials Comfortable performing extractions Strong knowledge of skincare ingredients, skin types, and common skin concerns Ability to develop individualized treatment recommendations Comfortable recommending and selling professional skincare products Strong communication and customer service skills Professional appearance and demeanor Reliable and able to work independently Comfortable creating social media content, including short videos and Reels Previous medical spa experience strongly preferred Responsibilities Perform HydraFacial treatments and other facial services offered by the practice Perform dermaplaning and extractions when appropriate Assess client skin concerns and recommend appropriate treatments Educate clients on home skincare routines and professional products Recommend additional services when clinically and cosmetically appropriate Rebook clients and develop ongoing treatment plans Maintain accurate client documentation Maintain treatment rooms according to sanitation and infection control standards Assist with client follow up and retention Participate in weekly social media and content creation Support monthly practice sales, rebooking, and retail goals Schedule 24 hours per week minimum with opportunity for full time employment Candidates must have schedule flexibility based on practice needs. Compensation $23 per hour 5% commission on services performed and retail products sold Additional earning potential through increased hours, client retention, and sales performance. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is not looking to simply perform a facial and send the client home. We are looking for someone who can build relationships, educate clients, create comprehensive skincare plans, rebook consistently, and contribute to the continued growth of our Dublin location. HydraFacial certification is required. Candidates without the required certification will not be considered.
