We are a growing, independent dermatology practice in Napa that combines medical dermatology with a thoughtful, results-driven aesthetics program. THE ROLE

We are looking for a licensed esthetician who is warm, safety-minded, motivated, and excited to grow with our practice. The role will initially focus on customized facials, LED treatments, post-procedure skincare and recovery, patient education, and skincare sales. As you become comfortable with our protocols and demonstrate strong judgment, reliability, and excellent patient care, there will be opportunities for your responsibilities and schedule to grow. We are looking for someone who enjoys building genuine relationships with patients, wants to continue learning about skin health, and takes pride in creating an experience patients genuinely look forward to returning to.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform facials and LED treatments according to practice protocols Provide post-procedure skincare and recovery treatments Follow California esthetician scope of practice, infection-control standards, and practice safety protocols Educate patients on skincare and make thoughtful, individualized product recommendations Help patients build realistic skincare routines using the practice's ShopMy recommendations, contribute to that curation over time, and help develop our online skincare store, including fulfillment and shipping Maintain treatment rooms, back-bar supplies, and skincare inventory Assist with front desk and patient-experience needs as part of a small team Participate in occasional patient, skincare, or community events Complete practice-provided training and continuing education

COMPENSATION AND PERKS

$24-$30 per hour, based on experience Progressive, tiered commission on eligible services personally performed Commission on eligible skincare products personally sold Employee discounts on products and services Cosmetic-model opportunities for employees Practice-provided training and continuing education

SERVICE COMMISSION

Service commission is calculated progressively based on monthly collected revenue from eligible services personally performed: 10% on the first $3,000 in monthly collected service revenue 15% on monthly collected service revenue from $3,001-$6,000 20% on monthly collected service revenue above $6,000 Complete eligibility, calculation, and payment terms will be provided in a written compensation agreement.

Part-time employees receive California paid sick leave in accordance with applicable law. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Active California Esthetician License in good standing Strong attention to safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and scope of practice Warm, polished, and professional patient-care skills Comfortable connecting with people from different backgrounds Willingness to learn and consistently follow established treatment protocols Reliable, organized, collaborative, and respectful of patients and coworkers Strong communication and time-management skills A genuine passion for caring for people and helping them feel confident in their skin

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in dermatology, medical aesthetics, or a medspa setting Familiarity with professional or medical-grade skincare Experience with skincare retail, sales, and patient education Existing clientele or experience building a loyal patient base EHR, electronic charting, or medical-office experience Experience with online skincare retail or order fulfillment is a plus
