The Opportunity:
We are searching for an experienced, dynamic and passionate "Esthetician Educator" to join our team to teach, educate and mentor students for our esthetician program. This position will be responsible for facilitating classes, oversee student provided services on the clinic floor, monitor student progress and provide instruction in the areas of skincare to include: facials (classic, hydrafacials, laser facials, lymphatic drainage, sculpting, etc.), skincare analysis, skincare treatment and product knowledge, exfoliation and hair removal. We are also searching for educating in the areas of waxing (face, arms, legs, neck, soft/hard, etc.), lash & brow tinting/lift and make-up application. Advanced treatments (chemical peel, micro-dermabrasion, micro-needling, dermabrasion) is a plus!
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement meaningful lesson plans and curriculum for the esthetician program adhering to state guidelines. Instruct daily classes that include but are not limited to skincare (facials, dermaplaning, micro-needling, microderm, chemical peels, micro-dermabrasion, etc.), skincare analysis and treatment, waxing, eyelash extensions and lash lift, make-up application, LED light therapy, etc. Educate students in theory, practical and technical applications to prepare them for state licensure and real-world success. Conduct detailed academic reviews and assessments, track student progress, attendance and performance, and enter all grades, credit hours and work-based assignments in systems and databases. Remain up-to-date on current trends, products and industry standards.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Colorado Cosmetology and/or Esthetics License required and in good standing. Minimum of 2 years licensed industry experience in a salon, medical salon or similar setting required. A passion for teaching and mentoring others! Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professionalism, accountability, and commitment to student growth.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay:
$23.00•$25.00 per hour DOE. First performance review after 6 months with the potential for pay adjustments based on performance. Paid Time Off.
