This position is ideal for a licensed professional who is passionate about providing personalized skincare and massage services that support relaxation, rejuvenation, healing, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge in both esthetics and massage therapy, excellent communication and customer service skills, and a warm, welcoming presence. This role requires the ability to assess each guest's individual needs and provide exceptional, personalized treatments while maintaining SunWater Spa's high standards for professionalism, cleanliness, safety, and hospitality. Key ResponsibilitiesEsthetics Services Deliver professional facials, skincare treatments, and waxing services in accordance with spa protocols and guest needs. Provide body treatments including hydro therapy, lash lifts, and tinting. Evaluate guests' skin types and conditions and recommend appropriate treatments and home-care routines. Educate guests on skincare practices, products, and available retail offerings. Maintain accurate client records, treatment notes, and product recommendations. Preferred experience and knowledge of Eminence skin care line. Massage Therapy Services Provide professional massage therapy services tailored to each guest's needs and wellness goals. Assess guests' needs and recommend appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans. Apply a variety of massage techniques with a strong understanding of anatomy and body mechanics. Educate guests on post-treatment care, stretching, and wellness practices. Maintain accurate and confidential treatment records. Guest Experience & Spa Operations Create a calm, nurturing, and welcoming environment where guests feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of treatment rooms, equipment, and work areas in accordance with spa policies and Colorado regulations. Adhere to all applicable state and local licensing requirements and professional standards. Arrive on time, prepared, and professionally groomed for all scheduled appointments. Promote appropriate spa services, wellness packages, memberships, and retail products. Participate in team meetings, continuing education, training, special events, and other spa initiatives as needed. Maintain a positive, professional attitude and contribute to a supportive team environment. Work independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively to support fellow therapists Qualifications Current Colorado Esthetician license required. Current Colorado Massage Therapy license required. 2 years of experience in a spa, wellness, or similar professional setting preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Passion for wellness, holistic health, relaxation, and healing practices. Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, as applicable. Must be avilable to work Wednesday, Saturdays, & Sundays Physical Requirements Ability to perform massage treatments for extended periods, including 60-90 minute sessions. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions. Ability to climb multiple flights of stairs. Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and move equipment as needed. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to maintain treatment rooms and workspaces between guests.
