The Esthetician is responsible for providing facials and waxing to guests of our facility. The Esthetician will be able to perform facials and waxing that meet the established guidelines for the type of service offering and that fulfill guest expectations. In addition, the Esthetician will perform all treatments on services menu based upon current licensure. Our ideal candidate will have a valid Esthetician license and have weekend and holiday availability. We are also accepting candidates that are interested in picking up one day a week during our hours of operations, Wednesday through Sunday. The compensation for the Esthetician is $20 an hour with 40% commission and 20% gratuity. Requirements Deliver facial and waxing services in line with spa service guidelines and guest preferences Maintain complete knowledge of all treatments, services, and product offerings Assess guest contraindications to ensure safe, personalized service Begin and conclude sessions punctually while maintaining a calm and welcoming presence Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and universal precaution protocols Maintain cleanliness and readiness of treatment rooms and equipment Accurately document guest notes and preferences for future visits Actively recommend retail products and additional services tailored to individual guest needs Collaborate with team members and communicate guest feedback and supply needs to Spa Director Qualifications Valid State of Illinois Esthetician License High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a spa, resort, or hospitality setting preferred Exceptional interpersonal communication skills Ability to recommend treatments and products with confidence and professionalism Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Physically able to perform job duties, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25lbs
