About the Opportunity We are an established plastic surgery practice in Louisville, Kentucky, growing our Med Spa , and we're looking for an experienced, motivated Esthetician to join our team. Our goal is to provide high-quality, personalized skincare services in a professional medical setting while creating an exceptional experience for our patients. With an established plastic surgery patient base and the resources of a busy practice behind you, you'll have a strong foundation for building lasting patient relationships and a loyal aesthetic clientele. What You'll Do Provide customized facials and professional skincare treatments within the scope of your Kentucky esthetician license Perform skin assessments and patient consultations Develop individualized skincare and treatment recommendations Provide appropriate pre- and postoperative esthetic skincare for plastic surgery patients Educate patients on professional skincare, home-care routines, products, and treatment options Build lasting patient relationships and encourage continuity of care Maintain high standards for sanitation, safety, treatment rooms, and documentation Work closely with our plastic surgeon and clinical team to provide a professional and cohesive patient experience Recommend appropriate professional skincare products and services based on individual patient needs Contribute ideas and feedback as our aesthetic practice continues to develop Participate in marketing and social media efforts, including educational content, treatment demonstrations, and occasional photos or videos Collaborate with our in-house marketing team to promote skincare education, services, products, and the Med Spa All services must be performed within the individual's Kentucky scope of practice, training, and any applicable medical supervision requirements. Who We're Looking For Current Kentucky Esthetician license in good standing — required Previous professional esthetician experience — required Passion for skincare and providing high-quality, results-oriented patient care Strong consultation, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to establish trust and develop long-term patient relationships Knowledge of professional skincare products and home-care regimens Professional, dependable, organized, and self-motivated Comfortable working collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff Interested in continued education and staying current with skincare techniques and treatments Comfortable participating in professional social media content and marketing activities Interested in becoming a long-term part of a growing aesthetic practice Experience in a Med Spa, plastic surgery practice, dermatology practice, or other medical aesthetic setting is preferred. Dedicated In-House Marketing Support Our in-house marketing team supports the growth of the practice and Med Spa through professional content, campaigns, patient communication, and community outreach. We expect our Esthetician to be an active participant in these efforts by sharing their skincare expertise, contributing ideas, helping create educational content, and occasionally appearing in photos or videos. You won't be expected to manage marketing on your own. Instead, you'll work collaboratively with our marketing team so that your professional expertise can be translated into polished, effective content that helps educate patients and grow your clientele. Professional Medical Environment You'll work alongside our plastic surgeon and clinical staff in an established medical practice. This provides the opportunity to care for both aesthetic clients and surgical patients while being part of a professional, patient-focused team.
