Job Description
Uni K Wax is opening a brand-new studio in Rochester Hills, and we're looking for talented, personable Wax Specialists to join our opening team. Whether you're an experienced waxer or a licensed esthetician or cosmetologist looking to build your waxing career, this is an opportunity to join a new studio from the beginning, build a loyal clientele and grow your income as the business grows. At Uni K Wax, waxing is all we do . Our specialists are focused on providing an exceptional waxing experience while developing long-term relationships with their guests. What You'll Do Provide professional face and body waxing services Deliver an exceptional guest experience from consultation through checkout Build relationships with guests and develop a loyal repeat clientele Educate guests on proper pre- and post-wax care Recommend appropriate products and services Rebook guests and help educate them about membership options Maintain clean, sanitary and organized treatment rooms Follow Uni K Wax service protocols and sanitation standards Work collaboratively with the front desk and studio team to achieve studio goals Participate in ongoing training and coaching Compensation & Benefits $18.00/hour base pay Service-based commission opportunities Retail sales commission 100% of guest tips Paid training Paid time off for eligible employees Employee discounts and perks Opportunities for growth and advancement as the studio grows Your base hourly pay provides stability while commission and tips give strong performers the opportunity to earn significantly more. What We're Looking For Current Michigan esthetician or cosmetology license Waxing experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate Passion for providing excellent guest service Friendly, confident and professional personality Comfortable educating guests and recommending services and products Motivated to build and retain a loyal clientele Reliable and team-oriented Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation and detail Willingness to learn and follow Uni K Wax techniques and protocols Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends Why Join Our Opening Team?
