Job Overview The Medical Aesthetician is vital to the success of our practice and MedSpa. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service with a friendly attitude that fosters clients loyalty and trust. This position requires advanced expertise in our products and services, self-motivation, and a highly collaborative, positive approach to patient care. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Patient Care:

Greet clients professionally, conduct comprehensive consultations, and design customized skincare plans focused on optimal clinical outcomes. Passion for customer service with a friendly attitude that fosters client loyalty and trust. Ability to connect with clients is a core requirement for this client -facing role.

Communication:

Establish realistic patient expectations regarding treatment and procedure outcomes. Provide excellent client communication by listening carefully to their concerns, explaining treatment options clearly and ensuring a positive experience with each appointment. Complete client follow up consistently. Practicing empathy is a core requirement for this client - facing role. Able to collaborate with physicians and the support staff effectively.

Perform Treatments:

Safely complete a variety of aesthetic treatments including facials, chemical peels, Diamond Glow, Virtue RF, Microneedling, miraDry and advanced laser treatments( BBL, LHR, HALO, Helix).

Compliance & Safety:

Maintain strict patient confidentiality and Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA guidelines. Review all consent forms, health histories, medications, and previous treatments prior to care.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely electronic medical charting records.

Time Management:

Ability to arrive consistently and punctually to prepare and complete patient services within scheduled time limits.

Education & Sales:

Actively educate patients on skincare basics, provide pre- and post-care instructions, and participate in product sales and promotions increasing client satisfaction and business growth.

Schedule Growth:

Actively contribute to filling the appointment schedule through patient retention, social media engagement, and community relationship building.

Sanitation:

Uphold all legal and practice standards for sanitation, sterilization, and infection control. Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties for the esthetic rooms.

Collaboration:

Participate in staff and marketing meetings, communicate inventory needs, and train support staff on products and services as required. Professional Qualifications & Core Competencies

Licensure:

Active North Carolina Aesthetic License (Required).

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of clinical aesthetic experience with lasers and advanced modalities. Certified professional training in aesthetic lasers is required.

Technical Skills:

Basic computer and keyboarding proficiency (MS Outlook). Experience with Electronic Medical Records software (PatientNow and RxPhoto) preferred. Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Education & Certifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required); College degree or college coursework preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred. Physical Demands & Environmental Conditions

Mobility:

Able to sit, stand, and move intermittently throughout an 8-hour workday.

Physical Tasks:

Able to lift product boxes weighing up to 30 lbs. Physically turn over treatment rooms quickly (disinfecting and changing bedding).

Travel:

Ability to travel to training courses both locally and out-of-state as needed (2-5% of the year).

Work Environment:
