Duties Provide a variety of massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure effective pain management Utilize comprehensive knowledge of physiology and anatomy to deliver safe, effective massage techniques that address specific concerns Perform esthetic services such as skin analysis, facials, exfoliation, and other skincare treatments to enhance client appearance and well-being Communicate clearly with clients about treatment options, expectations, and aftercare instructions to ensure a positive experience Maintain detailed treatment records in accordance with medical terminology standards and clinic policies Adhere to all health and safety protocols including CPR certification and hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Experience Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and pain management techniques Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic treatments Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop customized treatment plans Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence Familiarity with occupational health practices related to wellness treatments Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications in specialized massage techniques or esthetic procedures are advantageous
