Job Description
Position Overview Marotta MedSpa is seeking a highly motivated, polished, and patient-focused Licensed Aesthetician / Aesthetic Specialist to join our growing team of professionals within a physician-led plastic surgery and medical aesthetics practice. This role is ideal for an experienced aesthetician who is passionate about skincare, body aesthetics, patient education, and delivering exceptional results in a premium clinical environment. As an Aesthetician at Marotta MedSpa, you will work closely with our physicians, nurses, and clinical team as an integral part of the patient experience. In addition to advanced facial aesthetics, this role will also support consultation, promotion, sales, and treatment of non-surgical body contouring and skin rejuvenation services. We are looking for someone who is confident in both treatment delivery and treatment conversion, with a strong ability to build relationships, educate patients, and drive retention. Key Responsibilities Clinical & Patient Care Consult with and educate patients to understand their goals and recommend appropriate treatments and skincare regimens Perform aesthetic services within scope of licensure and training Provide advanced facial aesthetic treatments including chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and other non-invasive skin treatments Support and perform non-surgical body contouring treatments and services Assist with post-procedure and post-operative skincare guidance as appropriate Take patient measurements and quality before/after photos Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough electronic medical records Ensure treatment rooms and workspaces are exceptionally clean, organized, and fully prepared Sales, Retention & Patient Experience Build genuine relationships with prospects and patients that align with our practice values and brand promise Promote a warm, polished, and exceptional patient experience from consultation through follow-up Follow up with patients to answer questions, support treatment plans, and optimize outcomes Educate patients on treatment options, skincare products, and ongoing maintenance plans Drive retail sales through thoughtful product recommendations Support patient retention through exceptional service, follow-up, and cross-promotion of appropriate services Assist in promoting treatments and helping convert consultations into booked services Brand & Team Support Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and administrative team members Create engaging content for social media and promotions as needed Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude Multitask effectively and help deliver a customized, elevated patient experience Stay current on aesthetic trends, technologies, and treatment offerings within the industry Qualifications Required Active New York State Aesthetician license Strong knowledge of skincare, facial aesthetics, and non-surgical aesthetic treatments Experience performing chemical peels and microdermabrasion Experience promoting, recommending, and selling treatments and skincare products Strong consultation skills with the ability to educate patients and help close treatment plans Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly organized with strong time management and follow-up skills Computer literate and comfortable working within EMR and practice systems Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong customer service mindset Ability to work collaboratively as part of a physician-led team Preferred Qualifications Experience in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery practice Experience with post-operative and post-procedure skincare Knowledge of current cosmetic and aesthetic procedures on the market Experience with non-surgical body contouring treatments Advanced aesthetic treatment experience preferred, including familiarity with: Laser treatments, microneedling, RF-based treatments, skin tightening technologies What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Passionate about skincare, aesthetics, and helping patients achieve exceptional results Friendly, polished, and highly professional in presentation and communication Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment Confident in both treatment execution and treatment promotion Committed to delivering an outstanding patient experience and upholding the standards of a premium practice Why Join Marotta MedSpa Physician-led plastic surgery and medical aesthetics practice Established, reputable brand with a loyal patient base Collaborative team environment with clinical support Opportunity to grow within an expanding aesthetics practice High-touch, patient-centered culture focused on excellence and results
