We are seeking an Advanced Aesthetician to join our experienced team in Lake Oswego, OR near Portland with a passion for collaboration and helping patients achieve their goals. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and eager to build and grow with us, has a strong willingness to learn and train, and passion about the aesthetic industry, evolving trends, and new treatments. This position will provide aesthetic services, procedures, and recommend retail products to help improve and maintain the health of a patient's skin.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned. Provide various skin treatments for patients that may include: Aesthetic procedures that require physician oversight such as Microneedling, Laser hair removal, Tattoo removal Dermaplane Diamond Glow/Hydrafacial Chemical Peels Microdermabrasion Various other cosmetic procedures Prepares patients for treatment, positions instruments and equipment, interviews patients, explains procedures and treatments to patient to ensure understanding. Observes each patient, records significant conditions and reactions Records all pertinent information in patient's chart, accurately codes all services provided. Consults with patients regarding skin care needs, procedures, outcomes, problems, etc. Assists providers as needed with patient's skin care Oversees and provides skin care and cosmetic products for patients. Maintains inventory of products and reports on sales of products Maintain patient confidentiality and data integrity in accordance with Health Information Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA) Adhere to all safety policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities while supporting a culture of high quality and excellent customer service. Participate in department or unit quality improvement activities. Responsible for greeting and assisting customers upon walk-in. Perform front desk duties as needed.
Experience Requirements:
Experience working in a dermatology, medical spa, or plastic surgery center Previously worked with cosmetic lasers and other cosmetic treatments
Must be a licensed Advanced Aesthetician Must be a graduate of an accredited program Maintain appropriate state licensure Current CPR certification Certified in cosmetic laser techniques preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:
Ability to communicate in an active multi-office environment Ability to efficiently operate all job-related office equipment Ability to follow or provide verbal and written instructions Basic to intermediate computer operation Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
