Medical Esthetician and Laser Technician Myrtle Beach Aesthetics and Wellness Myrtle Beach, SC 29575 Part-time, Full-time, Contract Part-time, Full-time, Contract Myrtle Beach Aesthetics & Wellness is seeking a highly motivated, personable, and experienced Medical Esthetician & Laser Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for someone passionate about aesthetics, committed to exceptional patient care, and eager to grow with a modern medical practice. This position is ideal for an esthetician who enjoys building long-term patient relationships while performing advanced aesthetic treatments in a professional, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Perform professional skincare consultations and develop customized treatment plans.
Perform laser treatments including:
Laser Hair Removal IPL Photofacial Pigmented Lesion Treatment Vascular Lesion Treatment Skin Rejuvenation Perform medical-grade facial treatments including: HydraFacial Chemical Peels Microdermabrasion Dermaplaning Microneedling (as permitted by state regulations) Educate patients on treatment expectations, aftercare, and home skincare regimens. Recommend and sell professional skincare products and treatment packages. Take high-quality before-and-after photographs. Maintain accurate patient treatment documentation. Maintain treatment rooms, laser equipment, and supplies according to OSHA and infection control standards. Assist medical providers with aesthetic procedures when appropriate. Help promote the practice through patient education, social media participation, and community events. Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming, luxury patient experience. Qualifications Current South Carolina Esthetician or Cosmetology License. Laser Certification from an accredited training program. Minimum of one year of medical spa or aesthetic experience preferred. Experience operating aesthetic laser platforms preferred. Knowledge of medical-grade skincare products. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Strong consultation and retail sales skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Experience Experience with one or more of the following is preferred: Laser Hair Removal IPL/Photofacial Radiofrequency Skin Tightening Microneedling Chemical Peels Dermaplaning HydraFacial Body Contouring Medical-grade skincare product sales Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience Performance-based bonuses Retail product commissions Service commissions Employee discounts on treatments and skincare products Paid training and continuing education Opportunities for career advancement 401
