Esthetician License Full Job Description Overview:
Overview Elements Massage Spokane Valley is growing our therapeutic skin care team and is currently seeking licensed estheticians/aestheticians to join the studio. Our goal is to create a welcoming work environment where employees feel valued and motivated to come to work each day. Come see what makes Elements Massage Spokane Valley unique! What You'll Do Complete a thorough skin analysis of each client to determine skin type, condition, and the appropriate service Talk professionally with clients about their skin concerns, medical history, and desired results, and clearly document intake forms and session records Customize a facial service plan for each client and provide a relaxing experience through cleansing, treating, exfoliating, and moisturizing Educate clients on skin health and provide personalized post-care recommendations, including at-home regimens and product usage Recommend appropriate return frequency and service/product enhancements for the best therapeutic outcome Maintain professional and ethical boundaries, including appropriate draping and informed consent, throughout every session Accurately document session records electronically within the legally required timeframe Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to all health and state safety regulations Physically perform 60-minute sessions with 15-minute turnovers between clients Compensation and Benefits Compensation range of $30 - $32 per hour Discount on retail products Discount on Massage Therapy services Qualifications and Skills Active and current state esthetician license, with proof of renewal provided each year Active liability insurance through ASCP Completion of an accredited Esthetics/Aesthetics educational program Experience with customer service in the beauty or wellness industry Experience educating clients and providing service or product recommendations Awareness of contraindications and areas of caution, and comfortable working in a dimly lit room Client-service-oriented individual who communicates effectively with clients, studio management, and coworkers Thrives in a fun, team-oriented environment Previous experience in a spa environment or providing facials is a plus A proven track record for gaining repeat business and recommending service enhancements is a plus We'd love to speak with experienced estheticians/aestheticians with a wide variety of backgrounds from the beauty industry — resort spa, medical spa, and much more.
