Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented individual to join our team. This position involves assisting families with funeral service needs while supporting daily office and administrative operations. The ideal candidate is professional, caring, organized, and able to communicate with kindness and empathy during difficult times. Prepare memorial products for families, including folders, videos, prayer cards, and other printed materials Create, edit, and update obituaries as needed Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism and proper phone etiquette Assist at the front desk by greeting families and guests in a warm and respectful manner Support funeral directors with family services and daily operations Submit, report, and communicate necessary information accurately and efficiently Assist families with compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail Maintain organization and accuracy in all office and administrative duties Provide general secretarial and administrative support as needed Qualifications Must be compassionate, caring, and able to work well with people Strong communication and customer service skills Professional phone etiquette required Ability to communicate with families in a respectful, kind, and professional manner Must be dependable, organized, and able to multitask effectively Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Basic computer skills preferred Requirements Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Reliable and punctual attendance required
