Heritage Family, a leading provider of funeral and cemetery services, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Service Counselor to join our team. As a Family Service Counselor, you will play a crucial role in assisting families during one of the most challenging times in their lives. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide support and guidance to families while upholding our commitment to professional and compassionate service.Responsibilities:
- Communicate with families to understand their needs and preferences for funeral and cemetery services
- Provide information on available service options, pricing, and packages
- Assist families in making informed decisions regarding funeral arrangements
- Market and promote Heritage Family's services to the community
- Analyze customer feedback and market trends to enhance service offerings
- Collaborate with the sales team to support insurance sales initiatives
- Conduct telemarketing activities to reach out to potential clients
- Utilize skills to cater to diverse customer needs
- Participate in outside sales activities to expand the company's reach
Requirements:
- Proven experience in customer service or sales roles
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices
- Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs effectively
- Experience in telemarketing or sales is a plus
- Bilingual proficiency is desirable for better customer engagement
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
