Jefferson Regional Laundry & Linen Department Job Summary:
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for performing a variety of laundry-related tasks to ensure hospital linens, uniforms, and other washable items are cleaned, sanitized, and ready to use. This role is essential in maintaining a steady supply of clean linens and supporting infection control in the hospital.
Laundry Attendant Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and cleanliness of linens. Ability to lift and move heavy laundry loads and work in a physically demanding environment. Basic understanding of laundry equipment and safety procedures preferred. Previous experience in a laundry or lien service setting preferably in healthcare of hospitality setting.
