Laundry Attendant

Duties Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal processing Perform dry cleaning tasks for delicate or special fabrics using appropriate solvents and techniques Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies to uphold safety and hygiene standards Assist with inventory management by tracking linen supplies and notifying management of stock levels or equipment maintenance needs Follow all safety procedures related to chemical handling and machine operation to prevent accidents or damage Distribute linen to all linen closets and stock the housekeeping carts as needed Support other housekeeping functions as needed to ensure overall cleanliness and guest satisfaction Qualifications Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of laundry processes including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and dry cleaning techniques Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control in handling linens and garments Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads safely, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety protocols related to laundry operations is a plus Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset to collaborate effectively with colleagues Join us in delivering exceptional service through meticulous laundry care!
