Responsibilities Operate garment care machines, including industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance Handle textiles with care, performing washing, drying, pressing, folding, and packaging of laundry items according to specified standards Manage materials handling tasks using push carts and other equipment to transport laundry loads efficiently and safely Maintain sanitation standards by properly using laundry detergents, cleaning agents, and adhering to safety protocols in all cleaning processes Conduct quality checks on finished laundry items to ensure proper garment care and textile cleaning procedures are followed Follow safety standards in production environments by wearing appropriate protective gear and adhering to safety protocols during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks Assist with customer service duties when needed, addressing client inquiries about laundry services and ensuring a positive experience Skills Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry services, and textile care methods including dry cleaning procedures Ability to handle heavy lifting safely while following proper manual handling procedures Familiarity with sanitation practices and safety standards in production environments Basic math skills for measuring detergents, chemicals, and managing inventory levels Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards clients and team members Experience operating garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, pressing machines, and garment care equipment Knowledge of safety protocol adherence during all stages of laundry processing to prevent accidents or injuries

Pay:

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 24.0 per week
