We are seeking a Part Time Laundry Attendant who will play a vital role in delivering fresh, impeccably laundered linens with efficiency and care, ensuring every guest experience meets the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. Part of the Milwaukee-based Marcus Hotels & Resorts portfolio, HOTEL PASEO offers guests a distinctive desert retreat featuring 150 thoughtfully designed guest rooms and suites, many showcasing breathtaking views of the San Jacinto Mountains and palm-lined landscape. Guests can unwind by our resort-style pool and on-site spa, explore the area on complimentary bicycles, and enjoy inspired dining at Larkspur Grill, Lemon Drop Pool Bar or Café Paseo. Located along world-renowned El Paseo, our boutique hotel places guests steps from premier shopping, art galleries, acclaimed restaurants, and vibrant nightlife while serving as the perfect gateway to Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley. What will you be doing? Wash all linen including sheets, washcloths, hand towels, rags, robes, etc. Operate the washer and dryer. Issue supplies, uniforms and laundry. Responsible for the organization and stocking of laundry room at the beginning and end of each shift. Reports any maintenance problems, safety concerns, or injuries to supervisor. Maintain all cleanliness and sanitation, along with personal hygiene. Other duties as assigned. What do you bring to the role? Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be able to use all cleaning equipment and materials. Must have flexible work schedule. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, grasp, stretch, and use a washer and dryer on a regular and extended basis. Basic comprehension of English preferred. What's in it for you?
