Job Description

Position Summary The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring all hotel linens, towels, and other washable items are cleaned, dried, folded, and distributed according to Stayable's quality standards. This role helps maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked laundry operation while supporting the housekeeping team to provide a comfortable experience for every guest. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, blankets, and other laundry items. Operate commercial washers, dryers, and folding equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage and remove items that no longer meet quality standards. Pre-treat stained linens using approved cleaning methods. Maintain proper inventory levels of clean linens for housekeeping operations. Prepare linens for delivery to other Stayable properties. Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. Monitor supply levels and notify management when replenishment is needed. Follow all safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and operating equipment. Assist housekeeping with linen distribution or other departmental tasks during busy periods. Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance concerns promptly. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Compensation $20 per hour
Requirements:
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous hotel, commercial laundry, housekeeping, or cleaning experience preferred but not required. Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment or willingness to learn. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Good organizational and time management skills. Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as business needs require. Basic understanding of workplace safety and proper handling of cleaning chemicals. Preferred Qualifications Experience in hospitality or extended stay hotels. Familiarity with linen inventory procedures. Knowledge of stain removal techniques and fabric care. Experience maintaining commercial laundry equipment.
