Laundry Attendant Saint Pete Beach, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $14 - $16 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Maintaining an organized workspace Inventory management Infection control Sanitation procedures Water conservation Quality inspection Industrial dryers Clean workspace maintenance Entry level Full Job Description Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens including sheets, towels, blankets, and staff uniforms Sort laundry by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure proper care Operate and maintain commercial washers and dryers according to safety guidelines Inspect linens for stains, damage, or excessive wear and report items needing repair or replacement Pre-treat stains and ensure all items meet cleanliness and presentation standards Deliver clean linens to housekeeping storage areas in a timely and organized manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and equipment Monitor inventory levels of linens and laundry supplies; notify management of low stock Follow hotel sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures at all times Handle guest laundry items (if applicable) with care, discretion, and attention to detail Assist housekeeping team during high-volume periods as needed Adhere to the hotel's sustainability and water-conservation practices Communicate effectively with housekeeping supervisors regarding linen needs and turnaround times
