Overview Join our dynamic team as a Laundry Attendant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional textile cleaning and laundry services. In this energetic role, you will ensure that all laundry operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, providing pristine garments and linens to meet our high standards. Your dedication will help create a welcoming environment for guests and uphold our commitment to cleanliness and quality. Responsibilities Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment with precision and care. Handle textiles and laundry materials safely, adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols at all times. Sort, load, and unload laundry loads using push carts or other materials handling tools, ensuring proper garment separation. Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of laundry loads while maintaining proper safety procedures. Apply appropriate laundry detergents and cleaning agents while following manufacturer instructions for optimal results. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including sanitation of equipment and surrounding spaces to ensure a hygienic environment. Assist with customer service by responding to requests for laundry services or special garment care needs promptly and courteously. Experience Prior experience in cleaning, laundry, or textile care is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Basic math skills are necessary for measuring detergents, calculating load capacities, and managing inventory. Familiarity with safety standards in production environments, including proper manual handling techniques and safety protocol adherence. Knowledge of garment care machine operation, including industrial dryers and dry cleaning machines, is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during laundry processing tasks. Strong attention to sanitation practices and textile cleaning procedures to ensure high-quality results. Excellent customer service skills to assist guests or clients with their laundry needs professionally.
