Duties Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and other textiles Sort laundry items based on fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal care Perform dry cleaning processes for delicate or specialized garments as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote safety and efficiency Follow proper safety protocols and handling procedures for chemicals and machinery Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies of detergents, cleaning agents, and laundry accessories Collaborate with housekeeping or hospitality teams to meet daily laundry demands promptly Qualifications Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and cleanliness Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Basic understanding of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a clean and welcoming environment.
