Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of linens, garments, and textiles through efficient laundry services. Your dedication to maintaining high sanitation standards and providing exceptional customer service will help create a comfortable and hygienic environment for our guests and staff. This position offers an energetic work atmosphere where your efforts directly contribute to the overall quality and reputation of our facility. Responsibilities Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to process textiles efficiently Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, folding, and organizing linens and garments Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport laundry loads safely across the facility Adhere strictly to safety protocols during all manual handling, heavy lifting, and machinery operation to prevent accidents Maintain cleanliness of work areas by performing sanitation tasks regularly and following hygiene standards Assist with laundry services for various textiles, ensuring proper garment care and stain removal when necessary Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper use of laundry detergents and chemicals Skills Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and textile cleaning processes including dry cleaning methods Experience with laundry services, garment care machines, and industrial dryers Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocol guidelines Basic math skills for measuring detergents, chemicals, and managing inventory levels Excellent customer service skills to assist staff or guests with laundry-related needs Familiarity with sanitation procedures and safety standards in production environments Effective materials handling skills using push carts or similar equipment for transporting large loads
Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:
