Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment including industrial washers, dryers, and garment care machines with precision and care. Handle materials safely using proper manual handling techniques and push carts to transport linens, uniforms, and other textiles efficiently. Perform laundry washing, dry cleaning, and sanitation procedures following safety standards in production. Manage laundry detergents and cleaning agents responsibly while adhering to safety protocol guidelines. Sort, fold, and organize textiles meticulously to ensure high-quality garment care and presentation. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, ensuring compliance with sanitation standards at all times. Assist with materials handling tasks such as heavy lifting of linens or bulky items while following safety protocols for injury prevention. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests for laundry services and addressing any concerns professionally. Qualifications Prior experience in laundry services or hotel environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of textile cleaning techniques including laundry washing, dry cleaning, and garment care machine operation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials efficiently using push carts or other equipment. Familiarity with safety standards in production environments, including sanitation practices and chemical handling. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, calculating load sizes, or managing inventory. Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation, garment care, and quality control. Excellent communication skills coupled with a positive attitude toward teamwork and customer service.
