USD $16.00 - USD $18.00 /Hr. Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is seeking a friendly, service-oriented Pool Attendant to join our team. As a Pool Attendant, you'll play an important role in supporting hotel operations, delivering exceptional service, and helping our team achieve its operational and business goals. Job Purpose Your role is to ensure the safety and comfort of guests in the pool area, providing attentive service and maintaining the pristine condition of the surroundings. Your professionalism and dedication contribute to creating a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere, reflecting the esteemed reputation of the hotel as a haven of sophistication and leisure while enforcing pool safety rules and regulations to ensure the well-being of guests. What You'll Do Sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothing and other textile items. Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures. Performing minor sewing duties. Tracking which items belong to whom. Keeping an updated inventory of laundry detergents and sewing kits. Tracking maintenance and repairs on laundering equipment. Ensuring that the facility remains clean at all times. Anticipating and responding to customers' queries, concerns, and complaints. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent is advantageous. Prior experience in a similar role is preferable. Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment. Ability to stand for long periods. Capacity to lift up to 20 pounds unaided. Basic arithmetic skills. Outstanding organizational and time management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Personable disposition with a knack for customer service. Available to work evening shifts and weekends. What We're Looking For Someone passionate about people and service. Strong communication skills are essential when interacting with guests and employees. Reading abilities are used often when completing paperwork, logging issues/complaints/requests/ information updates, etc. Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, and training abilities are often used. Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to: Standing and walking for extended periods. Use standard office equipment and communication tools. Lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
