Laundry Attendant (Pick Up & Delivery)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail- oriented Laundry Attendant (Pick Up & Delivery) to join our team. Work days will be Friday - Monday based on order demand. Current demand is approx 10 hrs per week. Position does have some flexibility and would be perfect for those individuals in need of part time work. The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for Pickup and delivery of laundry at locations around ABQ, washing and folding laundry and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment for customers. Key duties include operating a motor vehicle for pickup and delivery, laundry equipment, sorting and folding garments, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and handling customer interactions professionally. The role also involves record-keeping for deliveries.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Delivery:

Pick up soiled laundry from customers' locations. Transport laundry to the laundry facility. Deliver clean and folded laundry back to customers on scheduled routes. Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner. Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively.

Laundry Processing:

Sort items by color, size, and material. Operate and maintain washing and drying machines. Fold and package clean linens, towels, and garments. Maintain inventory of laundry supplies like detergents and softeners.

Operations & Maintenance:

Load and unload laundry bags and carts. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry room. Follow proper sanitization and safety protocols. Create and update laundry tags, invoices, and delivery logs. Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in good working order.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Customer Service:

Ability to provide excellent, professional customer service.

Physical Stamina:

Capacity to lift and carry laundry bags and carts weighing up to 40 lbs. Organization & Attention to

Detail:

Punctuality, strong organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail are essential.

Driving:

A valid driver's license with clean driving history is required.

Communication:

Clear and professional verbal communication skills.

Teamwork:

Ability to work effectively with other team members.

Salary:

$14.00 per hour +
