Job Description

Liniform Service is a full
  • service uniform and linen provider supplying hygienically clean products to a variety of customers in Northeast Ohio.
The Production Team Member performs tasks in the processing for its customers. The employee in this role must exhibit accountability and flexibility in a fast paced, goal oriented, production environment. Physical requirements include repetitive motions over the duration of an entire shift including; repeated bending, stretching, twisting, reaching, pushing/pulling and lifting as well as excessive standing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Feed and operate press machinery, or sort and fold for final finishing. Manually feed laundry into machinery. Grade quality of linen while feeding items. Retrieve cleaned/ dried linens which have been bundled and load them into carts. Under supervision follow processes, work rules, and policies that are in place to meet safety, quality and production goals. Meet or exceed current production standards. Maintain positive and professional attitude. Exhibit respect towards management and co-workers. Must report to work on a timely basis and maintain attendance with Liniform's occurrence policy. Operate machinery in a safe and responsible manner. Notify supervisor, in a timely manner, of any safety, mechanical, or material issues. Adherence to all Liniform safety standards. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a production environment preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively. Quality orientation and high attention to detail. Ability to meet production and safety standards. Strong teamwork skills. Some basic math skills required to track production goals.
HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday; 5:00 am to 1:30 pm. Saturdays, overtime, and the occasional schedule adjustment may become necessary to accommodate business needs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneed, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally move up to 100 pounds. Must be able to have range of motion in upper extremities, and to be able to bend at the waist to place or retrieve linen bundles at or from floor height. The work environment has moderate noise levels, and moderate temperatures with the exception of the summer months when the temperature may exceed 85 degrees for extended periods.
