Responsibilities Operate laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and specialty equipment to clean linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care Sort and categorize laundry items based on fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results Handle delicate items with special attention, including dry cleaning processes when necessary Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and safety standards are met Follow established procedures for stain removal, fabric care, and proper handling of guest belongings Record laundry loads and monitor cycle times to maximize efficiency and throughput Collaborate with housekeeping staff to coordinate laundry schedules and meet guest service expectations Skills Proven experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable Strong knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes Excellent attention to detail to ensure all linens are spotless and well-maintained Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols related to laundry services Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks with precision This role is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a welcoming hotel environment.
