Job Description

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Laundry Attendant to join our hotel team! The Laundry Attendant plays an important role in keeping our hotel running smoothly by ensuring guest room linens, towels, and other hotel laundry are cleaned, dried, folded, and ready for use. Responsibilities Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens and towels. Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and properly. Inspect linens and towels for stains, damage, or excessive wear. Properly measure and use laundry detergents and cleaning products. Maintain an organized supply of clean linens for the housekeeping team. Keep the laundry room, equipment, floors, work surfaces, and storage areas clean and organized. Load and unload washers and dryers throughout the shift. Use laundry carts to transport clean and soiled linens safely. Assist with maintaining appropriate linen inventory levels. Follow hotel sanitation, chemical handling, and safety procedures. Communicate with housekeeping leadership when supplies, equipment, or linen inventory need attention. Work efficiently to ensure clean linens are available to meet daily housekeeping and hotel needs. Assist the housekeeping team with additional duties when needed. Qualifications Previous hotel, housekeeping, or laundry experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided. Must be dependable and able to work independently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple loads of laundry throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods. Ability to safely lift and move laundry, linens, supplies, and laundry carts. Ability to follow instructions and proper safety procedures. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
