Duties Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment with precision and care. Handle laundry materials safely, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing textiles according to established procedures. Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport heavy loads efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning work areas regularly and following proper hygiene protocols. Assist with garment care tasks such as stain removal, fabric inspection, and proper sorting of textiles for different cleaning processes. Follow safety protocols during manual handling and heavy lifting activities to prevent injuries. Support customer service efforts by responding promptly to guest requests related to laundry services and ensuring timely delivery of clean textiles. Skills Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and textile care best practices. Experience with laundry services, including washing, drying, dry cleaning, and garment handling. Ability to operate garment care machines safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Familiarity with sanitation procedures and safety standards in production environments. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, chemicals, or other laundry supplies accurately. Excellent customer service skills to assist guests courteously and professionally. Physical ability for heavy lifting, manual handling, and standing for extended periods. Knowledge of safety protocol adherence to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
