Must demonstrate superior customer service and encourage teamwork with all team members and other departments in order to maintain the high standard of cleanliness and safety that has been established for the community. Responsibilities Pick up and properly identify residents' laundry Weigh and record laundry as received for residents and community needs Examine and sort into lots articles to be cleaned according to color, fabric and cleaning technique required Start washers and turn valves or levers to regulate machine processes and the volume of soap, detergent, water, bleach, starch, and other additives Load articles into washers, remove items from washers and load into dryers Sort and count articles removed from dryers Return cleaned linens/clothing to appropriate resident or storage area Clean machine filters as needed and report any maintenance repairs to supervisor Report any missing, damaged or found items to supervisor Maintain laundry area in clean and orderly condition Display tact and friendliness when dealing with residents, families, and guests Comply with Clearwater Living standards/policies to encourage safe and efficient operations Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Background clearances as required by government regulations Clearwater Living is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
