In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring all hotel linens, towels, and guest laundry are impeccably cleaned, pressed, and organized. Duties Operate laundry machines and equipment efficiently to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest clothing according to hotel standards. Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal care. Perform dry cleaning processes for delicate or special fabric items as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly sanitizing machines, work surfaces, and storage spaces. Track laundry loads accurately and manage inventory of linens and supplies to prevent shortages. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to deliver clean linens promptly and meet daily operational needs. Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and operating machinery to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality control. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting linens or operating heavy machinery.
