This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and proper handling of linens, clothing, and other textiles within our facility. The ideal candidate will have experience with laundry processes, cleaning procedures, and a strong commitment to hygiene standards. Previous hotel or dry cleaning experience is a plus, but not required. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a clean and comfortable environment for our residents and staff. Duties Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and folding machines efficiently and safely Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and clothing according to established procedures Ensure all laundry is cleaned to high standards of hygiene and presentation Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and equipment regularly Assist with special cleaning tasks including dry cleaning when necessary Follow safety protocols related to handling chemicals and operating machinery Keep accurate records of laundry cycles and supplies used Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks Requirements Prior experience in laundry services, cleaning, or dry cleaning preferred Hotel experience is a plus but not mandatory Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and effectively Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting during shifts Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for this role
