Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial washers and dryers, along with cleaning and maintaining the facilities. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency and safety. Please note that the candidate will have to oversee multiple laundromat locations in the Richmond
- Petersburg area and be willing to drive between these locations daily as needed. Responsibilities
- Repair commercial washers, dryers, coin change machine etc.
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance on machines.
- Assist with any electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues that may arise
- Clean all areas of the laundromats, including wiping down machines, picking up and taking out trash, cleaning surfaces, mopping, etc.
- Inventory and stock all supplies related to cleaning and maintenance
- Fill in as needed to help fellow staff members
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers, and handle any complaints as necessary
- Assist customers as needed, such as help with heavy baskets, opening doors, etc.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
Minimum Experience:
Previous experience with repairing laundry appliances is requiredMinimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalentPhysical Requirements:
Requires ability to sit, walk, use hands, reach with arms, climb, bend, and lift (greater than 50 pounds).Other Requirements:
