Duties Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to process textiles efficiently. Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, loading, unloading, and folding linens, clothing, and other textiles. Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport laundry loads safely around the facility. Follow strict safety protocols during manual handling and heavy lifting to prevent injuries and ensure a safe working environment. Maintain sanitation standards by properly using laundry detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents according to safety guidelines. Conduct routine inspections of laundry equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely delivery of clean textiles and addressing any special laundry requests or concerns. Qualifications Prior experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper safety techniques. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, chemicals, and managing inventory.
