Full Job Description Key Responsibilities:
Shift options (depending on need) are 8am - 4pm Monday through Friday. $18.50 an hour starting out with quarterly tips.- Wash, dry, press and fold clothing or business goods (tablecloths, sheets, rags, towels, aprons), as directed, using high degree of care and detail. Notice and treat stains. Package orders, as instructed. Utilize Point of Sale system to invoice orders and accept payment.
- Work in a production environment. Our team processes mountains of laundry every day working together to get the work done. Ability to stand all day, lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly. Load and empty washers and dryers. Keep track of details and orders
- Explain various services to customers. (Pick-up and delivery, drop-off, and dry cleaning)
- Work efficiently to meet daily production goals.
- Take responsibility for quality completion of all laundry orders on time.
- Honestly and accurately handle money by using cash register/credit card machine and count the till.
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Perform general janitorial work including but not limited to bathrooms, floors, and machines. Tidy up counters, wipe down equipment, and sweep floors
- Assist Supervisor, Manager or Owner as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the janitorial, housekeeping, customer service, or production industry .
- Ability to work with a group of team members to reach desired outcomes.
- Create and follow detailed processes and systems.
- Demonstrate ability to use a smart phone, Gmail and a Point-of-Sale system.
- Desire to learn and grow.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on teams, supervisory experience is a plus and will be compensated appropriately.
