Permanent Makeup Brow Artist Skin Bar VII - Detroit, MI Skin Bar VII is seeking an experienced Permanent Makeup Artist specializing in brows to join our growing luxury skincare and wellness team. We are looking for a talented, professional artist who has already developed strong technical skills, has an existing clientele, and is looking for an opportunity to continue building their business within an established beauty and wellness brand. This is not an entry-level position . Candidates must have hands-on permanent makeup experience and a professional portfolio demonstrating healed and fresh brow work. Responsibilities Perform professional permanent makeup brow services Provide client consultations and recommend appropriate brow shape, technique, and color Perform services such as Powder Brows, Ombre Brows, Microshading and other brow techniques based on training and experience Maintain proper sanitation, infection-control and safety standards Educate clients on preparation, aftercare and healing expectations Maintain accurate client records, consent forms and service documentation Take quality before-and-after photos for client records and marketing Deliver an elevated, professional client experience consistent with the Skin Bar VII brand Maintain and continue developing your personal clientele Participate in Skin Bar VII promotions, events, social media content and marketing initiatives Cross-refer clients to other Skin Bar VII skincare, waxing and wellness services when appropriate Work collaboratively with the Skin Bar VII team to grow the permanent makeup department Minimum Requirements Minimum 2 years of professional permanent makeup experience Strong specialization in permanent makeup brows Existing clientele with the ability and desire to continue growing Professional portfolio available for review Must hold all current Michigan-required tattoo/body-art licensing, registration or credentials necessary to legally perform permanent makeup services Bloodborne Pathogens certification and any other required safety certifications Strong understanding of sanitation, infection prevention and proper PMU procedures Excellent brow mapping, shaping and color-selection skills Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills Reliable, organized and comfortable working independently Comfortable being photographed or participating in content promoting your work and Skin Bar VII Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following is highly preferred: Powder Brows Ombre Brows Microshading Combination Brows Brow Corrections Color Correction Brow Mapping and Design Additional permanent makeup services are a plus, but brow expertise is our primary focus .
