Job Description
The Makeup Academy, a well respected and industry leading Makeup Academy in the heart of Midtown Manhattan is rapidly growing and seeking talented, experienced and professional makeup instructors to add to our amazing team! This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys teaching their immense talent and creative skills to up and coming artists. This position requires classroom management experience, patience in working with novice and experienced makeup artists, and an uncanny ability to continue to instill confidence in our students. We are currently looking to fill a Lead Educator position for our Weekend and Evening schedules for our Makeup Programs and any other courses that may become available! We are looking for an extraordinary team player who will fit into our positive and uplifting culture. A can-do, multi-tasker, do what it takes to get the job done type of educator. Always bringing a positive and uplifting attitude and willing to come to the table with solutions, be open to continuous improvement and of course giving our students the most amazing experience while they are training at our academy. - 2+ year of experience as a makeup artist with an amazing portfolio
- 2 years of professional full time freelance experience
- Responsible & Hardworking team player with initiative
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
