Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Licensed Permanent Tattoo Makeup Artist to join our dynamic team. Flexible compensation structure; booth rental or commission-based arrangement available for the right established PMU artist(s). Responsibilities Perform a variety of permanent makeup procedures such as lip blush, eyeliner pigment application, microblading, and eyebrow tattooing with precision and artistry Consult with clients to understand their aesthetic goals, explain procedures thoroughly, and provide personalized recommendations Maintain strict adherence to tattoo and piercing safety regulations, infection control protocols, and sanitation standards to ensure client safety Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care to optimize results and ensure satisfaction Manage client records accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including medical history and consent forms and medical requirements and legalities. Promote additional services like laser hair removal, IPL, M8, injectables, hydrafacials and other aesthetic treatments to enhance client experience and business growth Experience Valid license as a permanent makeup artist or tattoo artist with certification in cosmetic tattooing and 1 year experience. Proven experience performing lip blush, eyeliner pigment application, microblading, and other permanent makeup procedures Strong knowledge of color theory, anatomy relevant to facial features, and skin types for optimal pigment selection and placement Familiarity with tattoo safety regulations, infection control practices, sanitation procedures, and medical records management Experience working with EMR systems for client documentation and treatment planning Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate clients about procedures and aftercare effectively Existing clientele and motivated to grow with the business.
