The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and sales, with an emphasis on providing exceptional tanning experiences for our clients. As a Tanning Consultant, you will be responsible for educating customers about tanning products and services while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. We also offer wellness services and hand airbrushed spray tans. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting clients warmly and addressing their needs. Educate clients on tanning and wellness options, products, and services available to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tanning equipment and salon areas to ensure a safe environment. Process transactions accurately, including cash handling and managing customer accounts. Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products or services that benefit the client's tanning experience. Assist in inventory management by tracking product levels and placing orders as needed. Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and best practices in tanning. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Sales experience, particularly in upselling products or services effectively preferred but can be taught. Knowledge of tanning and wellness principles is preferred but not required. Ability to sanitize equipment properly and maintain high standards of cleanliness. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Basic cash handling skills with attention to detail in processing transactions. Spray Tan Certification is a requirement of the position. If you are not certified, the company will cover the cost of the class you need to take. You will also earn a bonus on sales, services, and tips.
