Responsibilities Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and artistry. Apply advanced techniques such as nail art based on color theory principles to craft unique designs tailored to each client's preferences. Conduct esthetic treatments like dermabrasion, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and laser procedures when qualified. Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide expert recommendations, and upsell retail products related to nail care and beauty. Stay current with industry trends in nail care, hair styling, and esthetic treatments to continually enhance your skill set. Manage retail sales efficiently using retail math skills to maximize product recommendations while ensuring excellent customer service. Requirements Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with specialized certification in nail technology. Proven experience working as a professional nail technician in a busy salon or spa setting. Strong knowledge of color theory, nail extensions, gel manicures, acrylic application, and sanitation standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their beauty goals. Familiarity with salon safety protocols including disinfection procedures and client care best practices. Ability to perform detailed nail care services such as manicure, pedicure, hair extensions, hair styling, barbering, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and hair threading when applicable. Demonstrated retail sales skills with a focus on upselling beauty products confidently. Existing or partially existing clientele is a huge plus!
